Hand Engraving

The art of hand engraving is a traditional method of creating design work on metal. A graver is pushed through the metal by hand creating beautiful, one of a kind designs. Starting with a sketch in a notebook, our engraver finesses and builds his design to fit into the space on the object he is engraving. Once he is happy with the look of the design, he transfers it to the metal and begin the process of engraving. 

Our engraver can work on most metals, including sterling silver, stainless steel, gold and platinum. His designs can range from simple initials to complete acanthus scroll work.

Our Master Engraver loves creating custom pieces. Whether you have a design in mind or just want something unique, he can help you out. He can recreate your image exactly - for example a child's fingerprint on a heart pendant. He can also come up with some drawings and ideas if you aren't sure what exactly you want - for example, if you knew you wanted some initials but didn't know which font you want.
