Smudge Sticks

Smudge sticks are used in ceremonies and rituals involving smudging, a practice that involves the burning of certain herbs to create a cleansing smoke bath, which is then used to purify anything from people to ritual and ceremonial space, to tools and objects. Use smudge sticks to cleanse your your home, healing stones and tarot cards.

Burning aromatic herbs and resins was practiced in antiquity and is found in many cultures and spiritual religions. Smudging, though, is primarily associated with Indigenous traditions. 

  • Handcrafted

    Our smudge sticks are handcrafted from natural ingredients. As such, they will not match the photo exactly.

  • How to Use

    To light the sage, hold it at a 45 degree angle and light it using a match or candle. Let i burn for 20 seconds and glow the flame out. Smoke and embers will be present so be careful. Pass the smudge stick over your tarot cards, crystals or anything that you want cleansed.

  • Storage

    Store your new smudge stick in the provided bag. Because they are made from natural botanicals, smudge sticks stored in plastic may mold.
